RecruitGibraltar is helping one our clients who is an international group who has been a leader in delivering a very high level of service for over 20 years. They need a Customer Service Representative for its customer service team in Gibraltar to work in its successful, friendly and interesting online business.

You must live in the Gibraltar or Southern Spain area. This is a 100% office based role.

Shifts are 12 hours – 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am, with four days on and four days off.

What will you do as a Customer service representative?

• Providing a courteous and helpful service to the online customers through the proprietary back office management system and promoting, at all times, a positive image of the business
• Delivering a responsive and high quality enquiry resolution service
• Being able to resolve most questions and issues without referral but, importantly, knowing when to escalate matters to the customer service manager
• Maintaining good communication channels to ensure colleagues are aware of any problems or issues
• Empathising with the customers’ requirements and offering appropriate solutions in line with business objectives, and ensuring that customer expectations are always exceeded
• Responding to enquiries in a friendly, flexible and helpful manner, and at the same time accurately recording relevant customer-related information on the system
• Interpreting questions and requirements from customers whose first language may not be English


What do you know that makes you a great Customer service representative?

• Previous experience in a customer service position is essential, perhaps within hospitality, retail or gaming
• Minimum A'Levels or higher in level of education or equivalent
• Be capable of working unsupervised at times
• Have a great deal of common sense and be able to work well as part of a team
• Have reasonable computer skills
• Most communication with our customers is by email, and so you will need to have good written communication skills, and applicants must have excellent English-language skills, both spoken and written.

Salary £23k based on experience with 10% bonus.
